About
Oh to Sew, is the passion and dream of owner Phillippa, a super friendly and naturally creative talent who is empowering others by providing the opportunity to get together, relax and enjoy learning and supporting each other… here’s a little more about Phillippa in her own words:
- I have been crafting as long as I can remember, my mum’s trade is soft furnishing and I was brought up around fabrics and sewing machines, however, her sewing was very ‘practical’ – loose covers, curtains, swags and tails etc. and this did not particularly interest me.
- My love of sewing really took off around 10-11 years ago when I went into a patchwork and quilting shop and saw the array of beautiful fabrics is so many colours and the different quilts, wall hangings and bags which were on display – from then on I was hooked!
- Oh to Sew was born out of my love for sewing and the chance to share my passion with others.
- I get enormous satisfaction from seeing other people develop their confidence and skills.
- I live in Telford with my husband Lee and our Labrador Oscar, in our beautiful old cottage which dates back to 1769!
- I am a member of The Quilters’ Guild of The British Isles
